Do Rock 03:03
Like your faceless soul This world is not my home Why can't we be good Why can't we meet up Out on the shoreline Right here on the stage We need to shout it out for your sake Out of the sad, sad days So I can face this hole And still hear your soul Why can't we be good Right here we meet up Out on the shoreline Right here on the stage We need to shout it out for your sake Out of these sad, sad days Do rock Do rock Do rock

Lonely Drive 02:45
We were out on the town Out on the road Making our sounds And nobody showed Now I ride around With nowhere to go All I see and All I know is It's gonna be a lonely drive Oh man it's strange Plucking these strings But I gotta sing you back here You're outta my range Right through the plains Up the coast and south again It's gonna be a lonely drive
5.
Spirit 02:28
Your spirit is glowing Your shadow is growing Over streetlights There was nowhere left to go When you left to go I wanna save you We all want you back I wanna save you Your spirit is glowing Your shadow is growing Over everything around this sound Around the sun
6.
Talking to myself Like I'm talking to yourself All the time that we stayed up for the hell of it I keep waiting for you to show up here But you're not here
7.
Haunting the streets tonight The bodies of our youth The morning's street's alive With your cool Growing up onto the other Onto the other now and there Sometimes I face the truth But I'd rather face the lie If there's a god I want proof Cause my God this ain't right Growing up onto the other Onto the other now and there Growing up
8.
Your Ghost 02:04
I took a walk round the old neighborhood The places we terrorized I flashed back to the times that were good And through the fog in my eyes I saw your ghost Always snooping around I saw your ghost Around here somewhere In every face of every stranger I'd see on the street In every place All the places that we used to meet And all around this town, I found All around this town I found That I saw your ghost Always snooping around Around here somewhere
9.
Sweet Ride 03:09
Sweet ride You had a sweet ride It was a sweet ride Rollin' round in your Grand Marquis It made us feel It made us feel like we were free Cruisin' round with the city streets underneath Your wheels of rollin' thunder When it's time, come pick me up With your sweet ride You had a sweet ride It was a sweet ride Rollin' round in your Grand Marquis I wanna be I wanna be in that machine Cruisin' round with the starry night underneath Your wheels of rollin' thunder Yeah, I'm calling shotgun In your sweet ride You had a sweet ride

Sleep Tight 02:51
Sleep tight, my old friend I hope you're well where you are Sleep tight, my old friend I know you're not very far I saw you in another dream You were very much alive We talked awhile and man, it seemed Seemed just like heaven Seemed just like heaven should seem Whatever that means Sleep tight, my old friend I hope you're well where you are Are you playing with the aliens? Are you playing with a band up there? I saw you in another dream You were very much alive We talked awhile and man, it seemed Seemed just like heaven Seemed just like heaven should No, not like this, no no no No, not like this Whatever that means

The Dream 02:42
I'll keep searching til the end of the night I'll keep staring right into the sky I'm not alone I'll keep searching for the end of the night Everybody dies Yeah, everybody goes But we're still here for the other But we're still here In the dreams we dream I got this monkey on my back I'm down on the mat And it's pinning me slowly Wrestling one another Wrestling In dreams we dream It's all for nothing If you can't find your friends We're still here for the other We're still here In dreams

about

Dedicated to John Dorocki.

For a long time after John passed, I didn't feel right writing music. Music was what we did together for fun for many years, and I didn't feel like having fun. Then I remembered that music was always more than just fun to us, it was how we communicated with each other on a spiritual level. I know that if many of you heard the music we were making back in his apartment 15 years ago, you'd find that statement hilarious, but it's true. For as much as we argued like an old married couple all the time, when we played music together we understood each other in a way we never had before.

So I realized what I had to do; for myself, for John and for everyone else who missed him. Writing these songs was not only a way for me to express to John what I was feeling at the time, it was my way of keeping him right here with me. John's spirit will always be a part of me and a part of my music and I hope that those of you who knew him can hear that in these songs. I also hope for those of you who never had the chance to meet him, that you'll get a sense of how great a loss this was and how much love we have for our old friend.

Please download the album for free. I know some people want to support the team and I appreciate that, but in this case I would never feel right making any money off of this album.
